Bio
Nobody Answers makes severe, danceable music for the hour after the room has emptied. Melodic bass and dry drums carry clipped guitar, minimal analog synthesis and Mara Ellison's low, detached delivery. The Manchester quartet works in monochrome restraint, allowing rhythm and negative space to do the emotional damage.
