SUBHARMONIC LUNGS builds a complete rhythm section from voice, breath and bone. Damon Reeve layers sub-bass tones, beatbox patterns, clicks, snaps and chest percussion beneath a soulful lead, arranging every inhale as part of the groove. The sound lands somewhere between experimental a cappella, bass-pop and neo-soul, with no conventional instrument hiding the human source.
